Ladies Aid:

Ladies Aid members meet on the third Tuesday of the month - It is always our hope that other women in our congregation will come on down to “check us out.”  Come Join us in the fellowship hall looking forward to seeing you there! Besides the joy of working to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, He blesses us with fellowship, comfort, joy and friends that can last a lifetime. The main focus of Ladies Aid is to support mission work both in the U.S. and abroad and to serve our Lord in any way that we are able.  We also support one another with love and friendship and would happily welcome more women from our congregation to join in our fellowship.

LADIES AID - ALL WOMEN OF OUR CONGREGATION are invited to attend the Ladies Aid meeting on Tuesday, May 16, when we will be having a Baby Showerto support the Infant Layette Program at the New Life Center of Lutheran Social Services in Uniondale.   Guest speaker at this meeting will be Diane Kelly, volunteer coordinator of this program, who will update us on this special ministry that helps mothers and families in need by providing them with basic necessities for their new babies.  The need to distribute layettes continues to increase and only through the generous support of congregations and other organizations are they able to meet the challenge.  Those who will be able to attend the shower are asked to bring your unwrapped donations with you on the 16th.  If you are unable to attend, but would like to contribute to this ingathering of layette items, please bring them to church and place them in the basket in the narthex by next Sunday, May 14, or no later than the evening of the 16th.  A list of most needed items can be found in the box on the table in the narthex.  We truly hope that many women will join with us on Tuesday evening, May 16, to hear Dianes heartwarming presentation, and to share fellowship and refreshments with your sisters in Christ.

Commit everything you do to the Lord.  Trust Him to help you do it, and He will.”  Psalm 37:5
