SUNDAYs, 10:15 AM

Wednesdays, 7:00 PM

We gather to receive God's grace every Sunday at 10:15 AM in the Sanctuary and every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The live stream of our Sunday service is also available on our Facebook page. Everyone is welcome to come and hear God's promises proclaimed. The Lord's Supper is celebrated at every service. We'd love to have you join us!

You can click the worship options below for more information.

  • Our Sunday morning services are held upstairs in our beautiful sanctuary. You can expect a historic liturgy, rich hymnody, and a sermon that preaches Christ crucified for you. Bulletins are available on a table near the entrance, but the service is also projected on a screen above the altar. The Lord's Supper is celebrated at every service. We currently use the chalice and individual cups to distribute the wine.

  • Our Wednesday night services are held downstairs in our Fellowship Hall. You can expect a more basic order of service, acoustic-led music, and a sermon that preaches Christ crucified for you. The order of service and lyrics are projected onto a screen. The Lord's Supper is celebrated at every service. We only use individual cups to distribute the wine during our Wednesday night services.

  • A live stream of our weekly worship service will be available on Facebook Live. To watch the live stream of our worship services, please go to our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/stjohnswp.

OUR COMMUNION POLICY

The Bible teaches us that...

...we are sinners who were born dead in sin.

...we need God's forgiveness and salvation.

...we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone.

...Jesus is truly present in, with, and under the bread and wine of the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion).

...Jesus' body and blood are given and shed for us for the forgiveness of our sins.

If you are baptized and believe what we believe, we welcome you to come to receive Christ's body and blood for the forgiveness of your sins.

If you are unsure about the Christian faith or what we believe or have questions, you're probably not ready to commune—and that's OK. We welcome you to come forward and receive a blessing. Cross your hands in front of you as you come to the front.
